Hollywood actress Alexandra Daddario enjoyed a recent trip to Scotland - and joked she hadn't seen the Loch Ness monster yet.
The White Lotus star, who played Rachel Patton in the first series of the HBO comedy show, touched down in Scotland and shared beautiful snaps of her getaway for fans.
The actress, 36, was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for White Lotus in 2022 for her portrayal of aspiring journalist Rachel.
The Baywatch star shared a photo of a box of Tunnock's teacakes placed on top of her hand bag on the train, as well as stunning photos of the Scottish scenery and wildlife.
Sharing a series of photos and videos from her trip, Alexandra captioned the post: "No sign of the Loch Ness monster anywhere."
Although Alexandra didn't disclose her location on social media, the HBO star is thought to be enjoying a well-deserved break in the Scottish Highlands due to her caption about Nessie. She shared a video of a stunning waterfall which appears to be the Falls of Foyer, near Loch Ness, alongside another clip of Highland Cows grazing in a field.
Fans flocked to the comments to discuss her choice of snacks. "Who doesn't love Tunnock's tea cakes?," commented one fan. Another wrote: "Welcome to Scotland. Sorry about the midges"
A third penned: "You could not visit a better place than my homeland top tip, the dark chocolate Tea Cakes are to die for enjoy the most beautiful country in the world," while another echoed: "Tunnocks!!! Those are like crack."
Although it appears she has travelled all over the country, as one fan seemingly spotted her in the Capital. Commenting on her post, they wrote: "we walked past you in Harvey Nichols but I was too shy to say anything!!"
Meanwhile, many fans took to the comments and encouraged the actress to enjoy a slew of highly recommended Scots snacks while she's visiting the country. One recommended: "A tunnocks tea cake? Ooft next you’ll have to get some irn bru and then we start your indoctrin…. I mean initiation".
Suggesting something to wash the Tunnocks teacake down with, one fan said: "Try Buckfast its a Scots tradition". Another penned: "Awww you’re in my home land. Try Jammie Dodgers too. Love the Tunnocks".
A fourth recommended the Scots chippy staple, writing: "You should try “Deep Fried Mars Bar”". While a fifth commented: "Make sure to have a tunnocks caramel wafer too!"
"Poor girl is going is going to go back to the state's 100lb heavier if she eats all the "try this" suggestions. ...maybe just try and leave without diabetes pal," another fan joked.
The 36-year-old actress, who tied the knot with American producer Andrew Form last year, previously revealed she was a big fan of Scots band Frightened Rabbit. In 2018, after the bands frontman Scott Hutchison was reported missing, Alexandra praised the groups music for helping her through the "most difficult times of my life".
Re-sharing an appeal for Scott, she penned: "This man got me through one of the most difficult times of my life. "Midnight organ fight" spoke to my soul and made me feel understood, and not so alone. It is a raw, sparkling work of brilliance and emotional genius."
