White House Urges Iran To Avoid Responding To Israel

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre advised Iran not to respond to Israel's recent strikes on its territory over the weekend. This statement came in response to reports suggesting that Israel's actions could prompt a significant retaliation from Iran before the upcoming US presidential vote.

Jean-Pierre emphasized that Iran should refrain from retaliating but assured that the US would support Israel in its defense if Iran chose to respond. The US State Department also echoed this sentiment, urging Iran not to escalate the conflict further.
