Vice President JD Vance and another top official in President Donald Trump's administration argued serving the memory of Charlie Kirk means pursuing left-leaning groups they portray as bent on undermining national unity.
Mr Vance guest-hosted the assassinated conservative activist's livestream show on Monday night, when he amplified right-wing calls for an attack on leftist groups after Mr Kirk was shot last week as he addressed college students.
