US President Joe Biden will hold a bilateral meeting on Friday with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, the White House said in a statement.
Biden and his accompanying team will participate in a working session with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman afterward.
The US President is expected to arrive in Jeddah later on Friday on an official two-day visit.
On Saturday, he is set to take part in a Gulf summit in the presence of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, King Abdullah of Jordan, and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
The priorities of the US-Gulf talks include confronting Iranian threats, ending the Yemen war, and dealing with the energy crisis.
