The snowfall overnight Wednesday into Thursday led to 12 Perthshire schools being closed on February 24 and disruption to bin collection services.
Perth and Kinross Council advised that the through school in Auchterarder and 11 county primary schools would not open on Thursday due to the snow.
They were Aberuthven, Blackford, Cleish, The Community School of Auchterarder (nursery, primary and secondary), Comrie, Dunning, Glenlyon, Kinloch Rannoch, Logiealmond, Madderty, Muthill and Portmoak primary schools.
The snow gates closed on the A93 at Spittal of Glenshee in the morning but were open again by noon on Thursday.
The adverse weather led PKC to say that rubbish uplift and recycling would be affected too.
Perth and Kinross Council advised: “Many bin collections will be affected by the snowfall and icy conditions today.
“Lorries based at Perth, Kinross, Pitlochry and Crieff will attempt to lift what they can, where it is safe to do so.
“Staff are working to clear snow and ice at Kinross Recycling Centre. Once the site is safe for the public, it will open. All other sites are expected to be open as usual.”
The Met Office put a yellow weather warning for snow and ice over Perth and Kinross until 9.30am on Friday, February 25.
