The 2022 quarterback class is coming on strong in 2023. There will be four, and possibly five, members of the draft class starting for their teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Kenny Pickett. Pickett took over the starting job a month into the 2022 season and never looked back.
However, Pickett wasn’t the only quarterback from that class to get on the field as a rookie and won’t be the only one looking to lead his team this season.
The Falcons are counting on Desmond Ridder to step his game up and use all that athleticism. The Washington Commanders’ Sam Howell won his only start in 2022 and is penciled in to start this season. Brock Purdy went 5-0 last season starting for the Niners and won a playoff game. The dark horse is Malik Willis, who finds himself in a quarterback battle in Tennessee after struggling last season.
Cast your vote and let us know if you think Pickett will be the best second-year quarterback or whether will he fall behind.
