The Cleveland Browns finally found a suitor quarterback Baker Mayfield. The former first-round pick is headed to the Carolina Panthers where he should be the team’s starting quarterback. Meanwhile, the Steelers added another Mitch Trubisky, a former first-round pick himself to be the team’s new starter.
Pittsburgh had an opportunity to try to trade for Mayfield but never seemed interested and targets Trubisky very quickly in free agency. Now we will be able to see which of these guys who came into the league with such high hopes can get their careers back on track.
I realize most of you reading this are Steelers fans and will vote for Trubisky by default. However, there was a pretty strong groundswell of support for Baker coming to Pittsburgh on social media before Trubisky was signed. So be sure to cast your vote with objectivity and let us know which quarterback plays better this season.
