NEW DELHI: Former ICC elite umpire Simon Taufel on Wednesday slammed the hypocrisy and lack of consistency shown by some over Jonny Bairstow's controversial stumping during the recently concluded second Ashes Test at Lord's.
After England's loss to Australia by 43 runs on the final day, coach Brendon McCullum and skipper Ben Stokes said that Bairstow dismissal was not in the spirit of the game.
