With the latest series of Love Island in full swing a bingo company delved into the projected social media earnings of each of the ITV show's current 13 contestants.
Many previous Islanders such as Molly-Mae Hague, Olivia Attwood and Megan Barton-Hanson have gone on to much bigger better things after acquiring mass-followings of fans on social media because of the programme.
Now, Buzz Bingo has analysed the current crop's projected income from social media alone, once they leave the villa.
In a new ruling, contestants' accounts must remain dormant while they are in the villa and nothing can be published on their behalf.
In the past, family or friends have been responsible for sharing content on the stars' social media accounts while they're on the show in order to boost popularity.

It comes as no surprise that Will Young, AKA Farmer Will, is set to be this year’s top earner. It’s estimated that Will is set to bag a minimum of £1,434 per post and receive a minimum of £523,410 per year. Before entering the villa, Will had already grown a huge following on TikTok, where he’d post videos of his sheep, pigs, and day-to-day life on the farm.

In second place, hairstylist Tanyel Revan who is estimated to earn a minimum of £315 per post and a modest £114,975 per year from her social media. The 26-year old Turkish Cypriot has been compared to last years’ winner Ekin-Su… do we predict another Oh Polly collab? We’re so excited to see what Tanyel gets up to after the villa.
Tanya Mehenga, a science student from Liverpool, is ranked third for projected earnings so far. Currently coupled up with Shaq, who ranks 12th, Tanya is expected to earn a minimum of £297 per social post and a minimum of £108,405 per year. Not a bad step-up from the typical student loan payment.
Overall, between the 13 current contestants, they are set to potentially earn a minimum of £1,419,850 just from their social presence.
