Former X Factor singer Frankie Cocozza has admitted that he has a drug addiction - over a decade after being booted off the singing competition due to being caught with narcotics.
The 29-year-old was predicted to be 'the next Harry Styles' when he appeared on the ITV show in 2011.
But after his life "got out of control", Frankie was removed from the competition by producers after being caught with drugs.
Just months later, he would appear on Celebrity Big Brother, where he would finish second to Denise Welch.
Frankie discussed his drug disgrace on a brand new podcast recently.
Appearing on The James Smith Podcast, Frankie said: "I'm a drug addict. Simple as that. I just am. I love cocaine. I'm sorry, I do. I know that if money hadn't run out, I'd still be snorting gear. It's a fact.
“I have made a conscious effort to try and stop since the bubba’s been born," he added.
"I feel bad because I’m saying I love it and that, but I know what I need to do as a dad now, and that’s not to do it."
"I've sniffed cocaine with people that you just wouldn't in a million years believe it," he added.
"I'm an 18-year old kid and they’re doing it with him. It’s insane. No one gives a f***.”
Frankie now lives in Australia with his partner and son.
