Where Winds Meet players have found a few methods that can be used to manipulate the AI chatbot NPCs into giving you the rewards for their side quests, without the need to actually help them out. So far two methods have been found that can work on bots to encourage them to hand over the goods.
The AI chatbot NPCs are one of the most controversial features of the free-to-play RPG, with some calling them "horrifying." However, most people see the use of AI as a minor grievance that you have to put up when playing an action-RPG that feels like an AAA game, but without the cost.
If you've been put off by the uncanny way these quest givers speak, there are two ways you can grab their rewards without any of the grief. As spotted by Reddit users, (Thanks PCGamesN) the most effective way to claim your reward is to talk to them in the same way they talk to you.

Players noticed that the chatbots would add actions or facial expressions in parentheses as part of their dialogue, much like how cringe emo kids used to do on MSN, not that I would know anything about that *looks down, and shuffles feet.* It turns out that if you do the same to the chatbots, they will think that you have completed the actions you put in brackets, without actually doing anything.
If the NPC isn't charmed by your unusual use of punctuation, there is another method you can try. By engaging in a little echolalia, sometimes the chatbots become confused, and eventually just hand over the goods. When the NPC asks you something, respond with the last few words they say followed by a question mark. By employing the 'I know you are but what am I' defense the chatbot is eventually worn down and just gives up.

You won't get that warm fuzzy feeling that usually comes from helping an NPC with these tricks, but it is better than having to negotiate with a chatbot.
