Who will come out on top in Rangers vs Celtic in the Cup and where will the semi-final be won and lost?
KEITH JACKSON: It'll be a toss of the coin job at Hampden but Celtic have an edge over their rivals in terms of quality. The injury to Reo Hatate - and doubts over the fitness of Jota - will be a huge concern for Ange Postecoglou. But Celtic should have enough in reserve to get the job done.
ANDY NEWPORT: Celtic have the upper hand right now with a front three who have developed a habit of scoring at crucial moments in these derby head to heads. Rangers’ only hope is that Jota, Furuhashi and Maeda have a collective collapse of form.
GORDON PARKS: If Celtic perform as they can then there’s only going to be one winner. As always on these occasions, it’ll be the attacking weapons of Kyogo and Jota who will edge the contest against a Rangers backline which struggles to cope when moved around.
SCOTT BURNS: The Hoops had a rare stumble against Motherwell but I can see Ange Postecoglou using that as a kick up the backside for his team. I think Rangers will run them close but Celtic are likely to come out on top. The Hoops with Kyogo Furuhashi are just too strong.
Inverness take on Falkirk in the other semi-final. Who will be returning to Hampden and who do you think will make the difference on Saturday?
KEITH: Billy Dodds admits his squad is looking jaded as the Highlanders cling onto hope of promotion to the top flight but they should be capable of seeing off a Falkirk side from the third tier. And veteran striker Billy McKay is the man who’ll make sure of it.
ANDY: Billy Mckay may be 34 now but the Northern Irishman has the experience and the eye for goal that should worry Falkirk. With 17 strikes already this season he’ll be looking to fire Caley Thistle to the final.
GORDON: Inverness have found momentum and form at the right time and are unbeaten in seven and having that surge of confidence should see off a Falkirk side which isn’t short of game-changing talents. Billy McKay is the man for the big occasions and could be the difference.
SCOTT: Inverness have got to fancy their chances. Yes, Falkirk are a good team but if Caley Thistle play to their potential then they should win. Caley Thistle had a good defensive shape that will be key, while Billy Mckay is always likely to grab a goal.
Should Hibs midfielder James Jeggo have been sent off for a challenge on Connor McLennan and is it worth appealing?
KEITH: It was another awful VAR collaboration and Hibs have every right to challenge it. But the farcical decision to hit Shinnie with an extra game ban might make them think twice.
ANDY: It was a nonsense decision and Lee Johnson has every right to be raging. If Hibs don’t win an appeal then our disciplinary system needs tearing up and rewritten.
GORDON: It’s a red card. Our clubs need to stop crying foul and fuelling conspiracy theories by making an issue of referee decisions. Football is subjective in its rules, just get on with it.
SCOTT: I didn’t think it was a foul, never mind a red card. I am in no doubt that the officials would argue that he was out of control, but it was a good challenge. I hope it gets rescinded but after Shinniegate you never know what could happen!
Kyogo Furuhashi drew a blank as Kevin van Veen continued his scoring streak and Lawrence Shankland also turned up the heat. Who will finish top scorer?
KEITH: Kyogo might have gone a couple of weeks without a goal but it’s hardly a crisis for the Japanese striker. He’s the best in the business in this country and he’ll score more than he’l miss between now and the end of the campaign.
ANDY: With 23 top-flight strikes, Furuhashi leads Shankland by two and I can’t see the Japanese ace being caught. He’s been sensational all year.
GORDON: Kyogo’s head and shoulders above the rest.
SCOTT: Kyogo has to be favourite because he is out in front and is probably going to get more chances than the other two. Kevin van Veen is in excellent form and if he can continue his scoring streak then he has a genuine chance.
