The hit Netflix show Bridgerton is back on Friday, March 25 with a new season bringing the drama and gossip to the Ton but where is the Ton and where was it filmed? The drama itself is set in London but many different locations were used to bring this 1800s drama to life.
One of the main locations was the gorgeous city of Bath and the stunning Roman city with Georgian architecture is a perfect filming location for Bridgerton. Areas like the Royal Crescent and Abbey Green in the centre of Bath are used.
For the glamorous ballroom scenes, where potential suitors meet and could fall in love, the Great Conservatory at Syon House in west London was chosen as the place for filming and other London locations include Hampton Court and Windsor Great Park. Wilton House in Salisbury was also used and half the filming took place at the studio in Uxbridge.

Ranger's House in Greenwich was used for exterior shots and RAF Halton was used for interior shots and further locations include Badminton House in Gloucestershire as the Foundling Hospital. Some locations were further up north with Castle Howard in York used for ballroom scenes.
Greenwich's Old Royal Naval College will also feature in the new series as Conde Nast Traveller reports that new characters including Mary Sharma, played by Shelley Coon, were spotted filming there. Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire and West Wycombe Park in Buckinghamshire will also appear, with the Royal Ascot scene filmed at West Wycombe's polo ground.
Previously in season one the Holburne Museum of Art in Bath was used for Lady Danbury's house, who is set to return in the second season, and Leigh Court in Bristol was used as a ballroom. The second series is set to follow the eldest Bridgerton brother Anthony Bridgerton as he tries to find his marriage match and you can read more about the second series here.
