Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad will battle for a place at the top of the IPL 2026 points table when the two sides face each other in match number 56 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. Both teams currently have 14 points, with SRH placed second and GT third on the standings. A win will take either side to 16 points and above defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the table, strengthening their playoff chances with only a few league games remaining.
Gujarat Titans enter the contest after four consecutive wins, while Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost only once in their last five matches. GT assistant coach Vijay Dahiya said the team would approach the game with confidence but remain cautious of SRH’s aggressive batting unit led by Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.
