Hundreds of Santas, elves, reindeer and tinsel-clad bikers will be riding through Bristol today on their annual Santas On A Bike charity ride.
The ride is expected to bring the city centre to a standstill as crowds gather to watch the spectacle of as many as a thousand motorbikes, trikes and quads roaring through the city's streets. The route has changed this year, and could take as long as two hours to get through the city from one end to the other.
The annual event paused for the covid pandemic but returned last year and will be back this year with a rev of the engines. The charity ride takes place all over the country, and Bristol's will see collectors all along the route collecting for the Children's Hospice for the South West, at Charlton Farm in North Somerset.
