The Red Arrows are one of the most eye-catching and popular fixtures of air shows and flyovers wherever they go all over the world.
Officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows have performed in almost 60 countries since the 1960s. And the team has announced there is going to be two opportunities to see them take to the skies in Wales this year.
First, they will fly over Swansea on both Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3 when the Wales National Airshow returns for the first time since 2019. You can read more about that by clicking here. You can sign up to the latest newsletters from WalesOnline by clicking here.

And then, the following month, people will be able to marvel over their displays as they perform at Rhyl Airshow on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28.
The Red Arrows team is made up of pilots, engineers and essential support staff with frontline, operational experience. Their trademark Diamond Nine shape and combination of close formations and precision flying have made them a massive hit at the event since its inception. Based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire, the Red Arrows had flown almost 5,000 displays by the beginning of 2021, the team's 57th season.
They assist in recruiting to the armed forces, act as ambassadors for the UK at home and overseas and promote the best of British.
