Where to go skydiving in Scotland as Olivia Attwood calls it 'most amazing thing'

ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here is back and it's time to see the stars take on some of the most stomach churning tasks.

While many of us feel safe from having to eat parts of a kangaroo, others may feel inspired to take on some of the other challenges. One common task the celebrities face is the iconic skydiving challenge, often used to drop them into the jungle. This year, Olivia Attwood and Chris Moyles took to the skies and landed on an isolated island.

Despite their nerves at the start, Olivia said it was the "most amazing thing" she's ever done and it has lead to a spike in people searching where to go skydiving in Scotland.

So if you are looking for inspiration on your next thrill, then we have you covered. Check out some of the best places to skydive in Scotland here.

Skydive Strathallan

Skydive Strathallan, founded in 1960, is the oldest skydiving centre in Scotland, and with three aircraft, is also the largest. It provides beginners courses in both Solo and Tandem Skydiving. An hour's drive up from Glasgow, the school offers two options, a solo jump - which requires you to train from 9am, and tandem, where you jump with an experienced skydiver.

Prices:

Tandem Skydive £270, an extra £85 for the jump to be filmed

Solo Freefall Package £270 – six solo jumps included!

Solo First Jump Course £160

You can see more information here.

Skydive St Andrews

Over in St Andrews at Fife Airport, professional skydivers can jump with you in tandem and they offer a special video package deal too. From above the drop zone, you will be able to take in the stunning views over the Firth of Forth, Edinburgh, and Fife – on a good day you will be able to see the southern Highlands in Perthshire.

If you're looking to gift one for Christmas, they offer two gift voucher options, £80 and £280 (the full price of a tandem skydive).

You can see more details here.

Active Skydiving

For those who want to take things a little more seriously, Active Skydiving in Crieff offer skydiving courses so you can learn how to skydive solo. For training purposes, they film the jumps at no extra cost.
