Where to go and what to do in Bristol this Christmas

The weather has got a little bit colder and festive lights illuminate the sky above the city, which can only mean one thing - Christmas is coming. Each year the people of Bristol pull out all the stops to bring festive cheer to the streets, from Christmas food to present ideas, the city has everything to offer.

One staple of the high street during this time is a Christmas market, a place to find the little trinket your mum would love or to get a warm drink between shops. Around the city there are plenty of festive pop-ups but here are a couple you could visit this Christmas time.

Bristol Christmas Market in the Shopping Quarter has stalls offering a variety of festive food and gifts. Open until December 23, visitors can enjoy the German market, with its chalets and ski-themed bar.
