Days of heavy rainfall have set off flash flooding, emergency rescues and warnings across southwest Texas and the Hill Country. At least two people have died, according to Gov. Greg Abbott, and officials had made more than 230 rescues as of Thursday.
Edwards, Real, northern Uvalde and western Kerr counties saw several additional inches of rain from overnight storms, and overflow remains a concern for the Guadalupe, Nueces and Pedernales rivers due to saturated ground.
