After crawling their way out of the cellar of the AFC South a week ago, the Tennessee Titans unfortunately found themselves right back there after the weekend.
The Titans were the only team in the division that didn’t win in Week 9, outside of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who were on a bye.
Following Thursday’s loss, the Titans have now lost every game away from Nissan Stadium dating back to November 17th, 2022. Needless to say, that’s less than ideal, considering we’re already in November of 2023.
As for the rest of the division:
The Indianapolis Colts beat the Carolina Panthers by 14 points in a game that was relatively one-sided throughout.
Meanwhile, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a historic showing, en route to beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 39-37. Stroud threw for an NFL rookie-record 470 yards and five touchdowns on the day.
Now that all of that has been covered, let’s take a look at where the division stands after nine weeks.
