The Tennessee Titans dropped their 11th game of the 2023 campaign on Sunday against the Houston Texans, but with the Titans already out of playoff contention, the real focus is what impact it had on their draft positioning.
Per Tankathon, the Titans didn’t move an inch in the 2024 NFL draft order, with Tennessee staying in the No. 7 spot. Going into Week 18, Tennessee can’t get any higher than No. 4 but can’t fall any further than No. 8.
There are two other teams who sport a 5-11 record — the New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers — but both are ahead of the Titans because of interior strength of schedule.

The No. 1 pick is already wrapped up and will go to the Chicago Bears via the Carolina Panthers. The Titans won’t be able to grab the two spots behind that one because of the strength of schedule tie-breaker.
Of course, the first step in the Titans moving up is losing their Week 18 game to the Jacksonville Jaguars. From there, Tennessee would need the Chargers, Giants and Cardinals to win for the best-case scenario, which is the No. 4 selection.
