The Cleveland Browns will have money to spend, even if they do not right now. Here we take a look at where they rank in cap space among the Washington Commanders (the most), the New Orleans Saints (the least), and the rest of the NFL.
The Browns currently sit about $12 million in the red as they venture into their offseason. Do not fret though, as they are in a fine financial situation as free agency and the NFL draft are next up for general manager Andrew Berry and his staff.
It’s important to remember, however, that the Browns will restructure multiple contracts to free up cap space as they look to improve their roster this offseason. The Browns will not be strapped for cash this offseason, and what they are doing is sustainable long-term as long as they can continue to hit on draft picks like cornerback Martin Emerson Jr., defensive end Alex Wright, and offensive tackle Dawand Jones.
