Where Manchester United and Man City would have finished in Premier League table without VAR

Manchester City would've been six points better off without VAR in the Premier League this season - a study has revealed.

Pep Guardiola's side stormed to their third consecutive Premier League title under the Catalan. As for Manchester United, Erik ten Hag brought Champions League football back to Old Trafford in his first season - with United finishing third after Sunday's win over Fulham.

Arsenal and Newcastle United also booked their places in the top four, with Liverpool and Brighton earning Europa League spots and Aston Villa securing a seventh-placed finish that takes them into the Conference League. Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton all went down to the Championship, with the Foxes and Leeds relegated on the final day as Everton survived.

Now, using photos from key VAR incidents so far this season, Shield Gazette have put together a top flight table - with all VAR decisions taken out of the equation.
