Where is Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show and why has she been replaced?

Lorraine Kelly Carol Vorderman Susanna Reid Ed Balls

ITV viewers will have noticed that Lorraine Kelly wasn't presenting her self-titled morning show today (Tuesday July 12) and was replaced instead by Carol Vorderman.

The Scottish TV star, 62, wasn't anywhere to be seen on Monday's Lorraine show (July 11) either, with her last appearance on Friday (July 8). On Good Morning Britain on Monday, during her usual slot to reveal what is coming up on her show, she had vanished.

Susanna Reid and Ed Balls went to throw to Lorraine for her link but were instead greeted by former Countdown star Carol who was only a guest on the show a matter of weeks ago as she spoke about her latest TV appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside long-time pal Gyles Brandreth.
