Season three of ITV Detective drama McDonald and Dodds began this month on Saturday, June 19, 2022. Each episode airs weekly.
The show follows two detectives with seemingly nothing much to do. The pair is formed of the ambitious DCI McDonald and the shy DS Dodds.
The detective duo form a friendship and entertaining partnership as they take on mind-boggling cases. The ITV crime drama was last broadcast in 2021 when the series was split into two parts due to filming delays caused by covid. It proved popular with the ITV fanbase and was quickly renewed for a third series.
