Where in the first round does Draft Wire have Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave landing?

Celebrate! It’s NFL mock draft time, and per usual, there are plenty of Ohio State players that figure to join the party.

To be fair, it seems to be NFL mock draft time almost year around. It does, however, seem to level up around this time when we’re on the doorstep of the annual NFL Scouting Combine. And yeah, that’s where we are now.

Our sister site, Draft Wire, does as good of a job as anyone following and projecting the NFL draft, and Luke Easterling is at it again, posting his latest combine week NFL draft.

If you’ve been reading all the Buckeye leaves, you should be fully aware that the consensus remains that OSU’s two star receivers, Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, are projected to go somewhere in the first round. Easterling believes the same, but where he has the duo going differs from guys like ESPN’s Mel Kiper and others.

Here’s the latest on where Easterling projects Wilson and Olave to land.

NEXT … Garrett Wilson to a familiar spot

What Easterling Says

“After losing Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns simply don’t have a big-play threat at receiver who can stretch the field and scare opposing defenses. They won’t have to look far to find that kind of pass-catcher in this scenario, as Wilson brings his explosive play-making ability from Columbus to Cleveland.”

NEXT … A weapon for one of the best QBs in the league

What Easterling Says

“Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are still a dominant pair of pass-catchers, but the Chiefs shouldn’t pass up the chance to give Patrick Mahomes yet another dangerous weapon. Olave is a polished, explosive playmaker who would be an immediate star in this offense.”
