Kwame and Chelsea, Love Is Blind's newly engaged couple, have fans on the fence.
When Love Is Blind was filmed, the two formed a solid and comfortable rapport in the pods. But was it a little too comfortable? Was the spark there, or did the former soccer star simply pursue his second-choice match?
Chelsea has been enthusiastic and level-headed throughout the experience thus far, and she appears to be out to find her forever person. Fans are rooting for her a la Tiffany and Brett, but some seem to think that Kwame is not quite as devoted. Here's what's going on with the couple.
Kwame and Chelsea: 'Love Is Blind' catch-up
This is one Love Is Blind season 4 couple that we cannot really assess, truth be told. Chelsea is 100% in it, but it seems that Kwame is holding back somehow, though he does seem to care for her.
The problem comes with his failed relationship with fellow Love is Blind season 4 cast member Micah. (Surprised?) The widely-regarded mean girl of the season sank her claws into Kwame and threw us all for a 180 when she decided to match with Paul instead. After a rather hurtful rejection—one that did not seem to trouble her much—the two finally meet face-to-face in Mexico with the other pairs, and let's just say things are off to a rocky start.
While the group decides to take shots, Micah selfishly suggests they toast to their failed proposal, as Kwame had originally prepared to propose to Micah early. This jab did not sit well with him, but when the two convened for a heart-to-heart, things got...flirty.
Needless to say, the internet was not pleased with their touchy-feely behavior. Chelsea quietly left the get-together early and confronted Kwame about his feelings later on. We applaud this class act! Though there still seemed to be lingering feelings and "what ifs", Chelsea and Kwame decided to venture back home as one.

Where do Kwame and Chlesea stand now?
Though it's too soon to tell whether or not the two make it down the aisle, fans are being cautiously optimistic, for Chelsea's sake. According to a recent report from Entertainment Tonight, it appears the two met at the same harbor with Zack for a day on the water, suggesting that they might still be together, or at least on a friendly basis if not married.
However, some Instagram posts are questionable. While it seems that the contestants are forbidden from posting anything to social media that might spoil the season, a cryptic caption of Chelsea's left us wondering if the relationship was on rocky terrain.
"I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars," she wrote alongside a sun-kissed selfie.
We have some time before all is revealed, but we're holding out hope that the Micah situation was just a one-time scenario.
When ex-Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay questioned Kwame on his meet-up with Micah for Extra TV, he replied with a smirk but insisted he was confident in his proposal to Chelsea.
"It was interesting seeing Micah for sure, 100-percent, but I think at that point in time I was already at the point where I knew I had made the right decision," he revealed.
