Eight games into the Indianapolis Colts’ 2024 NFL season, the stats and figures that we look at on a weekly basis are really starting to carry some weight.
No longer are we in the small sample size zone where a good or bad performance can skew things. Statistically speaking, we have a good idea of who the Colts are right now, but of course, with still nine games to go, things can change moving forward.
With all of the stats and data that is out there, deciding which information to look at to help us paint the picture of who this 2024 Colts team is can be exhaustive. Whatever you want to know about, I’m sure there are stats and data out there on that topic.
But for the purpose of this article, in an effort to be concise while still highlighting pertinent information, I boiled down my stat selection to the basics of football: run game performance, passing game performance, pressures, turnovers, third down and red zone success, and of course, points.
