Where can I use my Blue Light Card? List of retailers as Asda brings back discount

Asda recently announced it would reinstate its 10% discount to Blue Light Card holders. The supermarket confirmed it was bringing back the offer as the cost of living rises.

The Blue Light Card is available to those in the NHS, emergency services, social care workers and armed forces with discounts online and in-store. Following the announcement, CEO at Blue Light Card, Tom Dalby, said: "We are really proud to be working with ASDA. With the cost of living on the rise, I hope this exclusive 10% discount helps families and individuals across the UK on everything from the big food shop to new school clothes.

"Asda has always done so much to show its appreciation to NHS staff and other frontline workers, and this partnership will support millions of blue light workers in the country."

Blue Light Card holders can get their discount by presenting their card at checkout in Asda stores, but where else can Blue Light holders use their cards? Here's everything you need to know.

Where can I use my Blue Light Card?

As well as Asda, supermarket shoppers can use their Blue Light Card online at Iceland. According to Iceland's website, new customers can save £6 when they spend £45 or more online.

Meanwhile, existing customers can save £2 when they spend £60 or more online. Simply log in to your Blue Light Card account to claim your unique code and apply it at the checkout.

Other partners include New Look, which offers 20% off full-price New Look branded products only unless otherwise stated. The Body Shop and River Island also offer Blue Light discounts. As do Jo Malone, Fat Face, and Mountain Warehouse.

According to ChronicleLive, other companies that back up the Blue Light card include Cineworld, Domino’s, Halfords, Hotpoint, JD, Lovehoney, Odeon, Alton Towers, EE, Go Outdoors, Haven, Myprotein, Ray-Ban, Charlotte Tilbury, Hotels.com, Samsung, Starbucks, Apple, Superdry and Boohoo. However, promotions are often subject to change so check the website for more information.

In fact, hundreds of high street retailers and restaurants are available on the Blue Light Card. However, you can’t see the full discounts available without a membership card. To see the full list sign into your Blue Light Card, here.

To get a Blue Light Card, NHS, emergency services, social care workers and armed forces can pay £4.99 for a two-year membership to the discount service.
