  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International has been ranked as the world's busiest airport for 2025, handling over 106 million passengers, according to the Airports Council International (ACI).
  • Atlanta retained its top position, a title it has held since 2021 and for 22 consecutive years prior to 2020.
  • Dubai International secured the second spot with more than 95 million passengers, while Tokyo Haneda came in third with over 91 million.
  • London Heathrow was named the seventh busiest airport globally and the busiest in Europe, accommodating over 84 million passengers.
  • Global air travel reached 9.8 billion in 2025, with the top 20 busiest airports collectively handling 16 per cent of all air travellers worldwide.
