When will the Strictly Come Dancing 2022 contestants be announced?

Strictly Come Dancing Bruno Tonioli BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing 2022 is just around the corner. BBC One has been teasing some details ahead of the series start date but the announcement everyone wants to hear, the celebrities that are taking part this year, is yet to be released.

What we do know is judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke are returning to the panel, while four new professionals are joining the line-up. They are European cup winner Vito Coppola, Chinese National Champion Carlos Gu, former Under 21 British National Champion Lauren Oakley and Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas. You can read more on this here.

And with the professionals already in training, you can read more on this here, and the Launch Show confirmed for September 7, it's likely the celebrity line-up will be announced very soon.
