With the cost of living sky high at the moment, many will be keeping a close eye on their bank accounts for benefits such as Universal Credit to drop in. And, with a bank holiday looming in a couple of weeks, there is likely to be a change to the date that it lands.
Monday, August 29, is a bank holiday in England and Wales. After that there are just two left in 2022 - Boxing Day and December 27, which is a bank holiday in lieu of Christmas Day, as it falls on a Sunday this year.
After that, the first bank holiday of 2023 will be a January 2, in lieu of New Year's Day falling on a Sunday. With payments made every week, or every four weeks, it's worth noting down some key dates for your diary, reports BristolLive.
