The battle to stay in the Premier League is set to go down to the wire as the season approaches the final stretch and Leeds United are still in the fight to remain in the top-flight. The Whites currently sit 16th, eight points above the relegation zone heading into the final seven matches.
Jesse Marsch's side stretched their unbeaten run to three matches with a 1-1 draw against Southampton on Saturday. Jack Harrison gave the Whites the lead with his fifth goal of the season, before James Ward-Prowse equalised with an excellent free-kick.
It was a result that extended the Whites' gap between them and the bottom three as Watford, Everton and Burnley all lost, while Newcastle United are also not completely out of the equation after a 5-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur. So, with that in mind, LeedsLive have taken a look at the Whites' relegation rivals' next five fixtures as the fight to stay in the top-flight intensifies.

It proved to be yet another frustrating afternoon for Everton as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at West Ham United on Sunday. The Toffees have failed to win on the road during Frank Lampard's time in charge and they must improve that record if they are to stand any chance of staying in the division.
This is because Everton face Burnley on Wednesday in what has been billed as one of the Toffees' biggest games in recent history. After their trip to Turf Moor, Lampard's men then take on four of the top-nine in Manchester United, Leicester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Watford
Remaining fixtures: Leeds (h), Brentford (h), Man City (a), Burnley (h), Crystal Palace (a)
The Hornets kicked-off the weekend when they travelled up to title-chasing Liverpool, and although they came away with nothing, it was a performance to be pleased about. Roy Hodgson's side limited The Reds to few clear-cut chances and were undone by two defensive errors as Diogo Jota and Fabinho sealed the win at Anfield.
But Watford will fancy themselves to get out of trouble given their next five fixtures. With four of the bottom-eight to come before the end of the season, the Hornets have a real fighting chance of closing the gap to 17th-place Everton. Hodgson has previously saved Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Palace from dropping into the Championship and his experience will no doubt be vital in their fight.
Burnley
Remaining fixtures: Everton (h), Norwich (a), West Ham (a), Southampton (h), Wolves (h)
Having suffered a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City this weekend, Burnley will quickly want to forget about that one and focus on a crucial run-in which involves some 'six-pointers' at the bottom. The Clarets still have to play all three sides around them, including Watford, and will be confident that they can still get out of danger.
Sean Dyche has the experience and know-how to survive, having saved Burnley from going down for the last five seasons and their fixture run is favourable. With Everton and Norwich to come in their next two, the Clarets will surely have to get a minimum of four points if they are to find themselves in the mix between now and the end of the season.
