The closing ceremony of the World Cup takes place on Sunday as the curtain comes down on the 2022 tournament with Lionel Messi and Argentina hoping to beat defending champions France.
With the eyes of the world focused on Qatar for the last time in the tournament, the organisers will be keen to leave a lasting postive image for fans to remember the event by. There will be many big stars performing, with Nigerian-American musician Davido and Indian actress/musician Nora Fatehi.
The tournament began with controversy as the BBC chose to air a a segment criticising the treatment of migrant workers and FIFA corruption, ignoring the opening ceremony. Global stars such as Morgan Freeman and K-Pop artist Jungkook both participated in a star-studded start to the competition and it remains to be seen how the broadcasters will handle the tournament finale.

When is the World Cup closing ceremony?
The ceremony takes place at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday, December 18 and begins two hours before the final kicks off. It will begin at 4pm local time, which is 1pm in the UK and 8am on the US East Coast.
How to watch the World Cup closing ceremony
With the BBC not having shown the broadcast live on BBC One during the opening ceremony, they did broadcast it love on the BBC website and iPlayer. This will be the case once again, with the stream beginning at 1pm.
