When is the Love Island reunion 2023? Start time, presenter and what to expect

Series nine of Love Island may be over but there's still one more chance to see the 2023 contestants back together on-screen thanks to the reunion show. Love Island: The Reunion will air live on ITV2 at 9pm on Sunday, March 19 with presenter Maya Jama at the helm for the first time.

It comes less than one week after Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan won the winter edition of the series and bagged £50,000, beating Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins. who were the 2023 runners-up, during the live final.

Meanwhile, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi came in third and Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Mahenga were placed fourth. You can see exactly how the live final played out here.

When is the Love Island reunion 2023?

Love Island: The Reunion will air at 9pm on Sunday, March 19 on ITV2 and ITVX. It will kick off live from the studio and air for one hour and 35 minutes, ending at 10:35pm.

Fear not, however, because while this might be the last time you see this cast on screens, Love Island will return with a new cast in the summer of 2023 after ITV bosses confirmed viewers would get a double billing of the popular dating show this year.

Not only that, but the broadcaster has also confirmed The Romance Retreat (working title) - dubbed Love Island for grown-ups - will also air this year, hosted by Davina McCall. You can read more on this here.

Who is hosting Love Island: The Reunion 2023?

The last episode will of course be presented by Maya Jama, who took over Love Island hosting duties from Laura Whitmore this year. She will be joined in the studio by Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson who accompanied Maya during Love Island spin-off Aftersun every Sunday throughout season 9.

What to expect from Love Island: The Reunion 2023?

The reunion will see the 2023 Islanders reunite as they relive this year's most dramatic moments. Speaking about the reunion earlier this week, Swansea contestant Anna-May Robey predicted things could get heated.

The Wesh star told The Mirror: "I'm so excited to see everyone at the reunion next week, maybe things could change. I feel like a few things might be said, or some things might kick off in the reunion. Especially if we've got a little bit of an after party." You can read more on this here.
