Last Rites is the fourth film to bear The Conjuring title and the ninth – and supposedly final, though that seems increasingly unlikely – instalment in the hit horror franchise. It brings the story of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren to a close by reuniting them with the first demon they ever encountered. Last time they simply ran. Will they be able to banish it back to Hell this time?

When is The Conjuring: Last Rites on HBO Max? Streaming release date revealed

It's tricky to predict release patterns for The Conjuring films, as the previous instalment in the saga came out during Warner Bros. (now abandoned) scheme to release its films simultaneously in cinemas and on streaming.
Our first clue that the film would be arriving soon was when it was made available to watch as a Premium VOD release earlier than anticipated, on October 7. Now it has been confirmed, via an article in Variety, that The Conjuring: Last Rites will be streaming on HBO Max later this month. We had speculated January 2026...
Regardless, the good news is that if you've been waiting to watch the spooksome new movie from the comfort of your own home then you will be able to very soon indeed. The Conjuring: Last Rites will be streaming on HBO Max from November 21.
