Liverpool successfully began their defence of the Carabao Cup after Harvey Elliott's penalty sealed their passage through to the Fourth Round, beating Derby County on penalties.
Caoimhín Kelleher guessed correctly three times as the Rams were beaten 3-2, ensuring that Jurgen Klopp's side will be in Thursday night's draw.
The Reds made 11 changes on Wednesday night as a host of youngsters were given their senior debuts. It could've been wrapped up in normal time had it not been for Derby goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith, who proved to be a thorn in the side of Liverpool after making six saves.

Last year's beaten finalists Chelsea bowed out following their defeat to Manchester City. Second half goals from Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez piled on the misery for Graham Potter as the Londoners' disappointing run continued.
With results on Tuesday and Wednesday night, it meant that Charlton Athletic - following their penalty shootout win away at Stevenage - were the only London side remaining as Brentford, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Tottenham and West Ham were all dumped out in the Third Round.
When is the Carabao Cup Fourth Round draw?
Klopp, as well as his Liverpool squad, will be able to sit comfortably following their win on Wednesday. They will learn who they will face upon the conclusion of Manchester United's clash with Unai Emery's Aston Villa.
Kick-off on Thursday is at 8pm so the draw should take place at around 10pm, or slightly later if the match goes to a penalty shoot-out. It will be televised on Sky Sports channels Main Event and Sky Sports Football with former players of respective clubs Dion Dublin and Peter Schmeichel on draw duties.
When will the Fourth Round games take place?
Fixtures for the next round will take place following the World Cup break, on the week commencing December 19. Two of the eight ties will be selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.
