The Carabao Cup is at the third-round stage this week with fixtures taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
It's a packed football schedule, with the EFL Cup competition and the last rounds of the Premier League and Championship taking place before the season halts for the World Cup. League One and Two will carry on.
Before the weekend, sides still in the Carabao Cup will be competing to get into the hat for the fourth round, including Newport County, who are taking on Leicester City on Tuesday night.
The draw for the fourth round will take place on Thursday night , straight after the conclusion of Manchester United v Aston Villa, live on Sky Sports. The draw is scheduled to begin around 10pm .
Mark Chapman will be joined by Peter Schmeichel and Dion Dublin to pull the balls out of the hat.
Round four Carabao Cup fixtures will take place following the World Cup break in the week commencing December 19, with two matches selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports.
