Remembrance Sunday, which takes place on the second Sunday in November, is a day to remember all those who have died in world wars and other conflicts.
This will be the first Remembrance Sunday without Queen Elizabeth II many will have experienced. Meanwhile, this will be Charles' first Remembrance period as King.
The National Service of Remembrance is held at The Cenotaph in London, which British and Commonwealth soldiers, sailors, airmen and women coming together with the Royal Family to pay tribute.
They will also be joined by representatives of the Armed Forces, Fishing Fleets, Merchant Air and Navy, in addition to faith communities and High Commissioners of Commonwealth countries.

When is Remembrance Sunday 2022?
This year Remembrance Sunday takes place on Sunday, November 13.
It always takes place on the Sunday nearest November 11, which is known as Remembrance Day.
What happens on Remembrance Sunday?
The national ceremony will as usual be held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall in London.
At 11am there will be a two minute silence, which will be marked by firing a field gun on Horse Guards Parade.
As well as a memorial service, there will also be a March Past, which veterans take part in.
Around 10,000 people take part in the parade, and these are allocated through associations.
Those wishing to take part will need to apply for tickets, which should be done through a relevant association.
According to the Royal British Legion, the National Memorial Arboretum will broadcast the annual Remembrance Sunday Service live from the Armed Forces Memorial from 10.45am.
When can you start wearing a poppy?
Traditionally, a poppy is worn during the Remembrance period, which starts from late October.

Throughout this period people will wear poppies, with many choosing to remove it at the end of Remembrance Day or Remembrance Sunday, whichever comes last.
The Royal British Legion says: "There is no right or wrong way to wear a Poppy – except to wear it with pride.
"You can wear a Poppy all year round but traditionally people stop wearing a Poppy after Armistice Day on 11 November or Remembrance Sunday, whichever is later."
The poppy is a symbol of remembrance in the UK, with millions of flowers being produced every year to wear.
The origin is believed to be from a poem by Canadian officer John McCrae called Flanders Fields, in 1915. It was later used by the Royal British Legion as a significant symbol of remembrance.
