Lewis Ritson headlines a packed card in Newcastle this week as he fights 37-year-old Montengrin Dejan Zlaticanin. Big time boxing returns to the Utilita Arena with a British super-welterweight also on the line.
Newcastle’s Ritson (22-2, 13 knockouts) is back in the ring having defeated Mexico’s Christian Uruzquieta four months ago. His main event super lightweight contest against Zlaticanin will be contested over 10 rounds.
The Probellum Throwdown also sees North East star Troy Williamson (17-0-1, 13 knockouts) fight again after his dramatic knockout of Ted Cheeseman last year. Williamson puts his British super-welterweight title on the line for the first time.
Thomas Patrick Ward (31-0-1, 4 knockouts) is also out to defend his unbeaten record having dominated Venezuela’s Leonardo Padilla in his last fight. While Pat McCormack and Ben Rees are set to make their professional debuts.
