ITV have teased what could be in store for the much-loved villagers, saying there will be some "life-changing decisions to be made" in this latest series. As Rev Will Davenport will be uniting happy couples, whilst DI Geordie Keating is busy investigating a case involving a string of local murders.

Tom Brittney will be reprising his role as Grantchester’s Reverend Will Davenport but he also got to try his hand at directing an episode in this new six-part series, speaking of the experience he said: "It was amazing! It was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had on a set, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do since I was young, I finally got a chance to do it.
