The Grand National Festival is the final major National Hunt meeting of the season, following the Cheltenham Festival last month, and gets underway this week.
The climax of the event is the Randox Grand National, with the iconic steeplechase being the penultimate race of the Festival on Saturday afternoon. As ever, the Aintree crowd will be passionately following their favourite horses while enjoying the Festival atmosphere starting from Thursday.
With the likes of Shiskin and A Plus Tard in the Aintree Bowl Chase on Thursday before Champion Hurdle winner Constitution Hill running in the Aintree Hurdle, the opening day will be an exciting day of racing. This is followed by Ladies Day on Friday before the main event on Saturday.

Corach Rambler is the current favourite for the Grand National, with the Lucinda Russell trained nine-year-old being 13/2 at present. However, with the handicap race being a wide open field, there is scope for an upset, with last year's winner Noble Yeats lining up having won from 50/1 last year.
With other big names such as Delta Work and Galvin also taking to the famous fences, it is sure to be a fantastic spectacle on Saturday.
