Glastonbury is finally set to return after two years of cancellation due to Covid-19.
After the time away, the buildup and excitement for the legendary festival have never been bigger, with a huge lineup up set to perform across its iconic stages.
Up to 210,000 people are expected to descend on the gorgeous Somerset fields, and the local area will brace for a time of year unlike any other.
The town of Glastonbury, which has a population of around 35,000, is a favourite for people looking for spiritual connections and the famous Tor. The festival will be no different, with around 30 different areas and even more, stages catering for everyone - from families to spiritualists, metalheads to poetry fans.
One of the biggest parties the UK has to offer, this year’s Glastonbury promises to be a thrilling week with something for everyone.
Festival's founder Michael Eavis said: “We’re going to run a really brilliant show this year, and it’s going to be the best show ever, I’m quite sure.
“People are so excited to come back… they’re really looking forward to coming back… it’s going to be quite the exceptional event.”
