Emmerdale's schedule next week - from Monday, November 28 - will yet again be changed to make way for the ITV's World Cup coverage.
The controversial Qatar football tournament is airing on both ITV and BBC as the world’s teams go head to head.
Emmerdale typically airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm till 8pm with an hour long special every Thursday. But the soap will not air on Monday, November 28, Thursday, December 1 or Friday, December 2. Emmerdale fans will instead get two hour-long specials on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Tuesday, November 29, Emmerdale will air an hour- long episode at 7pm. Coronation Street will then air after that in its usual slot at 8pm in its first episode of the week for an hour-long episode.
On Wednesday, November 30, fans will see Emmerdale air for an hour at 7pm, followed by Coronation Street, which will be broadcast at 8pm for an hour. On Friday, December 2, there will be no soaps as ITV is broadcasting the football from 6.15pm.
This isn’t the first time the World Cup coverage has caused disruption with the ITV soap's schedule as Emmerdale was forced to air Friday’s hour-long episode tonight at an earlier time of 6pm. It comes after Friday night’s episode was cancelled as England took on the USA in the world cup.
Last week, viewers were able to go online to watch the episodes on ITVX (the new ITV Hub) in advance instead but at the time of writing, next week's episodes are not yet available.
