Fans of comic books, movies and TV shows will be preparing to descend on Newcastle in a few months when Comic Con North East opens its doors. The weekend event is one of the best ways fans can meet their favourite stars and characters from across comic books, films and TV shows.
Organisers Monopoly Events are also the brains behind other comic con events in Manchester, Lisburn, Edinburgh, Manchester and Newport. They promise to make the North East event one to mark in the calendar each year, creating a flagship convention that is a must-attend event for fans.
The event will be running from 9am to 6pm each day, allowing punters to celebrate the best comic books and comic book culture the country has to offer. So, if you fancy checking out the event this summer, here’s everything you need to know.
