Chelsea successfully managed to overturn a 1-0 first leg deficit, beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals. After an entertaining opening 30 minutes without a goal but plenty of chances, in typical Chelsea style, Raheem Sterling threw the tie wide open.
Kai Havertz's second half penalty, which was initially missed before a reprieve was given due to encroachment from Dortmund, eventually put the home side ahead on aggregate and secured their passage into the last eight for the third year in a row.
It was a big win for Graham Potter, who came into this week under immense pressure for a poor run of results but has helped to ease that with wins against Leeds and now Dortmund.
