For the Working Class Man, the second solo album from Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes, consolidated his position as one of Australia's most-loved singers.

A concerted stab at the international market, it featured a stellar list of collaborators, including Tommy Thayer, Waddy Wachtel, Dave Amato, Charlie Sexton, Randy Jackson, Mick Fleetwood, Jonathan Cain and Kim Carnes. The album has just been reissued to celebrate its 40th anniversary, pressed on flame coloured gatefold vinyl.
