A new American burger restaurant is set to open in Cardiff next month. A new branch of Five Guys will be coming to Newport Road on April 4. The popular burger chain announced that it would open another branch of its restaurant at the former site of Frankie and Benny's.
This will be the restaurant's third branch in Cardiff, joining its other locations at the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff Bay, and the Brewery Quarter in the city centre. The former Frankie and Benny's site on Newport Road had been vacant since last April.
The burger chain, which was established in Washington DC in 1986, has a menu offering a range of burgers, beef dogs and sandwiches, such as a BLT or grilled cheese sandwich, as well as milkshakes with 11 flavours and ingredients that can be combined together.
