Millions of people are set to receive a one-off £150 payment to help with the cost of living.
The money is part of the UK Government’s £37 billion package of support aimed at helping households across the country cope amid soaring food, petrol and energy prices. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will deliver the payments and has recently updated people as to when they will receive the cash.
The payments will start landing in people's bank accounts from today (Tuesday, September 20), the Daily Record reports.
