Shoe retailer Dune London is set to make a welcome return to Newcastle city centre and now the high street chain has announced when its new store is set to open.
The popular footwear brand has taken over the former Cath Kidston shop in the Central Arcade and work is underway to transform the 1432sqft unit. Inside, customers can expect to find the same grey, white and steel décor of Dune's flagship store in London.
Dune bosses have confirmed that the store is set to open in early June and will stock the spring/summer 2023 collection of footwear for women and men, along with accessories.

Ahead of the opening, Dune is recruiting 10 staff members and jobs are currently being advertised on the brand's website. Roles include a store manager, supervisor, and sales assistant, with both part-time and full-time positions up for grabs.
Perks of the job include a 60% employee discount on Dune products as well as a seasonal uniform allowance.
The new branch marks a return to a standalone store for Dune London, which had its own shop within Eldon Square before its closure during the pandemic. Since then the firm has operated a franchise within the Fenwick department store and its nearest standalone unit has been in the Metrocentre.
